FAQ
Our turnaround time is anywhere between 12-16 months. We strive to have all work completed in under a year, but due to the nature of the work, completion times can vary. We will do our best to communicate with clients and give realistic expectations on the completion of work. Please contact us for current turnaround times.
Velvet antlers are very delicate, and the process of preserving velvet can be difficult. Velvet should be kept cool (preferably frozen) and dry and should be taken to your taxidermist as soon as possible.
Unless otherwise negotiated, taxidermy mounts require a 30% deposit upfront. Certain circumstances may require some work to have the complete cost paid in advance before work will begin or before it is finished. All balances must be paid in full prior to pick up, and all completed pieces must be picked up within 30 days of completion.
Game animals are typically brought to our shop caped from the neck down. If you are not confident in your ability to cape off the head of a game animal, please do not attempt it. Repairs made on the face of an animal require tedious work, and may still be visible after repair. We will finish caping off any animal that is brought to us for no additional charge.
We have experience mounting all big game, small game, and exotics from around the world. We do not currently mount birds or fish.
In order to focus more on our custom taxidermy mounts, we no longer do European Mounts.
